The current health crisis has disrupted much of what we knew as normal in higher education. In the wake of this pandemic, new norms have developed; many more will emerge over the course of the upcoming semesters. At UF Every Gator Counts. U Matter, We Care serves as UF’s umbrella program for UF’s caring culture and provides students in distress with support and coordination of the wide variety of appropriate resources. Families, faculty and students can contact email@example.com seven days a week for assistance for students in distress.
As the primary provider of mental health services for students, the Counseling & Wellness Center offers free counseling and psychiatric care as well as developmental and preventative services to UF students.
Acting as a resource for students with physical, learning, sensory or psychological disabilities, the disability resource center helps to provide a support system and empower students to achieve their dreams. By creating opportunities to educate the campus community, the Disability Resource Center helps make the University of Florida an inclusive environment for all who attend.
The Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry assists members of our campus community who experience food insecurity. The pantry was created for the Gator Good to inform students, faculty and staff about sustainable food practices and making balanced food choices.
GatorWell is a health education leader on campus, using health promotion strategies to educate UF students about health and wellness topics relevant to the college experience and create the next generation of Gator leaders.
