We have one of the largest university police forces in the nation and a full-service student health care center. UF takes great pride in providing a caring campus culture - as part of our U Matter We Care commitment. Assistance for students in distress is available 7 days a week. On top of that, the UF Counseling and Wellness Center is available to listen and help 24/7. At UF Every Gator Counts. U Matter, We Care serves as UF’s umbrella program for UF’s caring culture and provides students in distress with support and coordination of the wide variety of appropriate resources. Families, faculty and students can contact firstname.lastname@example.org seven days a week for assistance for students in distress.
As the primary provider of mental health services on campus, the Counseling & Wellness Center offers high quality counseling and psychiatric care as well as developmental and preventative services to UF students.
Acting as a resource for students with physical, learning, sensory or psychological disabilities, the disability resource center helps to provide a support system and empower students to achieve their dreams. By creating opportunities to educate the campus community, the Disability Resource Center helps make the University of Florida an inclusive environment for all who attend.
The newly established pantry assist’s members of our campus community who experience food insecurity. The pantry was created for the Gator Good and helps inform students, faculty and staff about sustainable food practices as well as with the knowledge of making balanced food choices.
