Trees grow throughout Southeast with help of UF

For almost 60 years, the University of Florida has helped state agencies and the forestry industry to manage resources and develop better varieties of trees.

The Cooperative Forest Genetics Research Program is run out of the University of Florida School of Forest Resources and Conservation. Florida’s forests support a $16 billion industry, larger than any single agricultural crop.
